Vancouver-False Creek is one of the most diverse and densely populated constituencies in British Columbia. As the name suggests, our constituency wraps around False Creek, and embraces many distinct downtown communities.

The bustling downtown business district, Yaletown’s trendy post-industrial lofts, the shopping and cultural mecca of Granville Island, the genteel leafy streets of Kits Point, and the condos and co-ops of South False Creek all contribute to making Vancouver-False Creek one of the most dynamic, vibrant, and sophisticated constituencies in the province.  

Vancouver-False Creek is home to approximately 43,000 people, and although we have not been hit as hard as many other communities, we have not been immune to the effects of the lingering recession and the failed policies of the BC Liberal government. British Columbia must do better. New Democrats bring to the table fresh perspectives and new options.

Our party is composed of people just like you – creative people, professionals, public servants, business people, artists, students, retired people and many others who have come together with a single purpose – to build a society that is based on economic opportunity, environmental responsibility and social justice.
